Giving Thanks

It goes without saying how thankful I am for my children, my husband, and my family and friends. I am also very thankful for good health, financial security, and peace in our lives. But this Thanksgiving, I decided to make a list of things that I am thankful for that have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with being a mom. It was actually hard to think about just myself, but it was so fun, too!  Here goes:

Things For Which I Am Thankful

Tweezers and Surgi-Cream

Caramel Macchiatos

The Bachelor and The Bachelorette (also Mad Men, The Office, 24, and Entourage.)

The DVR, which makes the above possible

The Land’s End Swim Shop

Stella Artois

Produce Junction

Friends & Family coupons

Chocolate & peanut butter. Together.

The car CD player

My Asics

The library

Friends who know me really well and still like me

Girls Nights Out (or in)

Vaseline, anti perspirant, and chapstick

Generously cut size 8s

68 degree weather

My bed, which I hope to spend more time with in the future

Red wine in a really big glass

My nieces and nephews

Better Homes and Gardens magazine

Advil

Benjamin Moore color sample jars

Internet shopping

Matt Damon

I would LOVE to see some of your lists! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
